Wimbledon on Wye

A brick-floored entrance gives way to a large wide-planked pine floored living area with a wood-burning fireplace.  Tastefully decorated with antiques and oriental rugs, this room segues into a glassed Florida room.  A separate brick-floored dining room, which seats 10 comfortably, is glassed from floor to ceiling and overlooks the hot tub, the in-ground pool, screened gazebo and a wide water view.  This room also accesses the conservatory and makes it an ideal entertainment area.

From the completely equipped kitchen (2 ovens, 2 refrigerators and 2 skylights) and down the hallway, one reaches an office with a magnificent antique desk, then on to a tidy den with working fireplace.  Off the den is an en suite bedroom with French doors leading to the patio, the gardens, and the water.  Three other bedrooms and a second bath are also off this lovely hall; and best of all, two of the bedrooms have a water view.

The second floor master en suite including a Jacuzzi is reached from the living room staircase and features a “pineapple” 4-poster king size bed, a walk-in closet, and a sitting room with a daybed all overlooking the water.

From tennis court to pool to pier with electric and boat lift to a screened gazebo complete with hammock to the hot tub on the patio and the trampoline for children, Wimbledon on Wye provides all one could wish for in a holiday get-away including seclusion.

Located only minutes from historic Easton and St. Michaels where one can find the most delicious foods and delectable goodies, antique shops, museums and art galleries.  Go shopping, crabbing, golfing, sailing and fishing or just relaxing by the pool, Wimbledon on Wye will be an unforgettable vacation.
